jev-linkedin-slop-filter
Chrome extension stamping LinkedIn posts BAIT, CORP or BRAG with Jev confidence, after free local keyword rules.
Overview
Slop Filter for LinkedIn judges each post as it scrolls into view and stamps it BAIT, CORP or BRAG with the confidence printed on the stamp, leaving the post readable. Local keyword rules settle obvious cases for free; only genuinely ambiguous posts go to Jev, and results are cached per post. A small local server holds the API key so it never reaches the browser, which is also why the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store.
On 14 labelled samples, the README reports engagement bait scoring 0.87 to 0.94 on is_slop, genuine posts 0.10 to 0.13, corporate PR 0.98 on is_corporate, and no genuine post above 0.35, so no false positives. Thresholds (is_slop at least 0.60, is_corporate_slop at least 0.70) are fitted to the exact question wording, and the author warns to rerun tests after changing wording, noting Jev's default 0.5 threshold underperforms.

How curated lists describe it
Judges every LinkedIn post as it scrolls into view and slams a rubber stamp on it — \*\*BAIT\*\*, \*\*CORP\*\*, or \*\*BRAG\*\* — with the confidence score printed on the stamp. The post stays readable underneath.
logicrw/awesome-jev-projectsSlams a BAIT, CORP or BRAG stamp onto LinkedIn engagement-bait, judged live by Jev (TypeSafe System One).
