HACKSPAIN-2026
Hackathon crisis agent that filters incoming calls and messages, plans with an LLM plus a solver, and uses Jev for in-call perception.
Overview
Taiafox is Grupo Gamma's HackSpain 2026 entry for the HappyRobot track, documented in Spanish. It is a crisis agent for emergencies such as wildfires or blackouts: it receives and makes phone calls, decides what to do with an LLM plus a deterministic solver, simulates the emergency in Minecraft, and shows everything on a live dashboard. According to the list summary, it filters a hundred incoming messages down to the three that matter, coordinates responders by voice and re-plans in under a second when the fire turns.
Two design rules stand out: the LLM never assigns resources or touches Minecraft directly, it produces a policy that a linear-assignment solver turns into a plan; and an assumed fact is never disguised as observed, with only observed facts creating hard constraints. Jev provides in-call perception within the HappyRobot voice layer. An append-only journal makes any run reproducible.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | Is this incoming message relevant enough to act on?(inferred) | yes · no |
| Choice | What does the caller report or need (in-call perception)?(inferred) | — |
How it works
- Ingest calls and messages; Jev perceives in-call content
- Update world state with observed vs assumed facts
- LLM produces a policy; solver produces a plan
- Verify, act by phone, and update the Minecraft simulation
Strengths
- Clear split between LLM policy and deterministic solver
- Observed/assumed fact discipline
- Reproducible journal
Caveats
- Hackathon project
- Many external services (HappyRobot, Humalike, Jev)

Frequently asked questions
What does Jev do here?
Perception during phone calls within the voice layer.
Does the LLM assign resources?
No, a deterministic solver produces the plan from the LLM's policy.
Why Minecraft?
It visualises the simulated emergency.
