Winnow
Chrome extension that asks Jev typed questions about an article, video or feed item and says read now, skim, save or skip.
Overview
Winnow is an MV3 Chrome extension that tells you whether an article or YouTube video is worth your time before you spend it. On a page, it asks Jev a fixed set of typed questions and turns the answers into one of four verdicts: read now, skim, save or skip, shown on a card with confidence, insight density (1 to 10), content type, how likely you already know it, whether claims are supported, whether it is an undisclosed sales pitch, whether it reads as AI-written, and where the payload sits. On captioned videos, chips seek to the core segment.
In feed mode on Hacker News, YouTube and link-heavy pages, each link gets a small badge, judged in batches of up to 12 and cached for seven days. Your reading goals, recent topics and read or skip clicks are summarized into every request, so verdicts are personal. Every word on the card is a template filled from typed answers. You bring your own Jev key and nothing passes through the author's server.
What the decision model decides

| Score | What is the insight density (1 to 10)? | — |
| Yes / no | Is this an undisclosed sales pitch? | yes · no |
| Yes / no | Are the claims supported? | yes · no |
