Overview

Feed Gardener (shown in the UI as Feeder) is a local-first workspace for discovering, filtering and saving public content around your interests. It brings results from arXiv, GitHub, Hacker News and Bilibili, plus YouTube and Google Scholar when their API keys are set, into one feed. You choose topics and exclusions, it fetches candidates on demand, explains why each item appears through interest, source and freshness signals, and keeps your reading list and feedback locally. A separate CLI shares the same logic.

Jev is optional: it scores item titles for relevance to your interests on a 1 to 10 scale, and you set a minimum score; items need at least 70% scoring confidence to appear in the scored feed. The README is precise that Jev evaluates titles only, that the score is a relevance estimate rather than a quality judgment, and that missing scores and source errors are shown rather than filled in. It does not affect recommendations on the source platforms.
