Vibe Check for X
Chrome and Firefox extension that scores a draft X post with Jev on a dozen rubrics and gives a send-or-don't verdict.
Overview
Vibe Check for X runs your draft post through Jev before you post. It renders a scorecard under the composer covering virality, funniness, informativeness, clarity, insult level, ragebait, cringe, whether it sounds AI-written, regret risk, typos and the most likely crowd reaction, plus an overall verdict: Send it, Fine/mid, Probably don't, or Sleep on it.
It works in the compose modal, inline composer, replies, quote posts and threads; the tweet being replied to or quoted is sent as context. Jev is text-only, so if you add an OpenAI key, attached images and the first frame of videos are described by a vision model and passed to Jev, with two extra media rubrics. Descriptions are cached per attachment. No build step is needed; Firefox requires a temporary add-on unless signed.

How it works
- Type a draft in X's composer.
- The extension sends the draft and reply or quote context to Jev.
- Optionally describe attached media with an OpenAI vision model.
- Show the scorecard and verdict under the composer.
Strengths
- Pre-posting feedback on tone and risk.
- Context-aware for replies and quotes.
- Media descriptions cached to limit cost.
Caveats
- Drafts and context are sent to TypeSafe (and images to OpenAI if enabled).
- Firefox install is temporary without signing.
