Polymarket BTC 5m Jev trader
Terminal agent for Polymarket 5-minute BTC markets that asks Jev up or down and buys once only above 0.90 confidence; dry-run default.
Overview
polymarket-btc5m-jev-trading is a terminal agent for Polymarket's BTC Up or Down 5-minute markets. Every few seconds it loads the current window and BTC spot price and asks TypeSafe Jev whether BTC finishes up or down versus the window open, receiving a side, confidence and probabilities. Policy in code then decides: wait if confidence is 0.90 or below, if the ask is too high, there is no edge, or fewer than 90 seconds remain; otherwise buy once up to a configured amount and hold to resolution.
Default mode is dry-run with an Ink terminal UI; a one-shot mode prints JSON, and an offline fixture mode with a stub judge runs without a key. Live trading is optional, requires an already working Polymarket wallet and private key in the environment, and posts fill-or-kill market orders with unfilled orders cancelled. Winners are decided by Polymarket's rules. It is a demo, not an audited strategy.

How it works
- Load the current market and BTC spot each tick.
- Ask Jev for side, confidence and probabilities.
- Wait unless confidence > 0.90 and edge exists with time left.
- Buy once and hold to resolution (dry-run by default).
Strengths
- High confidence bar before trading.
- Dry-run and offline fixture modes.
- Simple, inspectable policy.
Caveats
- Live trading risks real funds and needs a private key in env.
- Predicting 5-minute BTC moves is highly uncertain.
