BTC 5m Decision Lab
Paper-only research tool for Polymarket BTC 5-minute Up/Down markets: Jev scores the direction, separate code decides entries.
Overview
BTC 5m Decision Lab is a research tool for Polymarket's BTC 5-minute Up/Down markets, following the structure of jev-trader: market state, Jev class scores, independent execution logic and a live dashboard. It includes a live market-data adapter, Jev integration, paper trading and a dashboard, but never connects a wallet or submits orders; TRADING_MODE=live is rejected at startup.
Jev receives the price to beat, current reference price, seconds remaining, recent price changes, both outcome order books and optional Binance perpetual features, and answers whether the round will end at or above the opening price, via the AI SDK's experimental_evaluate. Trading rules separately decide entries: at most one open position, entering only when one side's fee-inclusive cost is at least a minimum edge below Jev's probability. The README states that Jev's class scores are not calibrated win rates and can be shrunk toward 0.5. A demo mode uses synthetic prices and a mock model and says nothing about returns.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Choice | Will this round end at or above the opening price? | Up · Down |
How it works
- Collect market state and order books
- Ask Jev for Up/Down class probabilities
- Validate; wait if missing or timed out
- Code enters only if cost is below Jev's probability by a minimum edge
- Settle and record in the paper ledger
Strengths
- Live trading is impossible by design
- Entry logic separate from the model
- Synthetic demo for end-to-end checks
Caveats
- Jev scores are not calibrated win rates, per the README
- No licence file
