Jevinik

Stock terminal that gathers live evidence via Valyu and asks Jev for the probability a stock trades higher in 30 days.

Projectprototype

Overview

Jevinik is a stock decision terminal with a Bloomberg-inspired interface. You enter a ticker (with autocomplete for common US and European stocks), the API validates it, and Valyu runs five evidence searches in parallel across market data, company news, industry news, analyst views and macro risks. Price history is condensed into returns, range, volume and recent-close statistics, and Jev evaluates the compact evidence state with typed boolean, score and choice questions.

The result shows the probability of a higher price in 30 days, an overall outlook, evidence quality, bullish, neutral or bearish signals by evidence category, the supporting sources, and separate timings for evidence retrieval, decision and end-to-end completion. Jev is called through Vercel AI Gateway, so no general-purpose generative model is used for the decision. SEC filings are currently disabled in the flow. It requires Node.js 20.9+, a Valyu key and a Vercel AI Gateway key.

How it works

  1. User enters a ticker
  2. Valyu runs five parallel evidence searches
  3. Condense price history into statistics
  4. Jev answers typed questions; show probability, outlook, signals and sources

Strengths

  • Source-level evidence inspection
  • Separate timing for retrieval and decision
  • No generative LLM in the decision path

Caveats

  • Not investment advice; no backtest reported
  • Requires two paid API keys
  • SEC filings disabled
