liuyao
I Ching divination site where charts and verdicts come from code and Jev only classifies the question's topic and screens unsafe ones.
Overview
Liuyao (sixyao.app) is a six-line I Ching divination website in a quiet Chinese style, with Simplified Chinese interface pages, Traditional Chinese hexagram pages, a Chinese almanac with daily recommendations and solar terms, an auspicious-day finder, a BaZi Four Pillars chart page and a Plum Blossom casting page. Charts are computed by deterministic code, tested against classic worked examples and 4,096 parity fixtures, and good or bad readings are decided by rules with reasons shown, never by a language model.
Jev has a narrow role: it reads only the user's question, sorts it into a topic, which selects the 'use god' for the reading, and screens out self-harm, emergencies and gambling. If Jev is unavailable, the user picks the topic manually and everything still works. Readings pair public-domain classical texts with plain-language commentary written for the project. The site is free, ad-free, needs no sign-in and keeps history in the browser. The source is public but commercial use is prohibited.
