hermes-slash-router
Hermes Desktop plugin where Jev maps misspelled, shortened or meaning-based slash commands to real ones at ≥0.85 confidence.
Overview
Hermes Slash Router is a Hermes Desktop plugin that routes misspelled, shortened and meaning-based slash commands against Desktop's live command catalogue. Exact commands and native aliases pass through unchanged; every other slash token goes to Jev with the current catalogue. Jev may choose only an offered command, and only at confidence of 0.85 or higher; if it is uncertain or unavailable, the draft stays in the composer and a "What did you mean?" field accepts an explanation.
A "Remember what I meant" option saves explicit corrections as advisory context, with up to eight examples from the same profile and catalogue informing later lookups, while every lookup still gets a fresh Jev decision. The package includes the Desktop plugin and a small backend that keeps the TypeSafe key out of the renderer and registers no agent commands, tools, hooks or middleware. Every non-exact lookup incurs paid API usage.
What the decision model decides

How it works
- User types a slash command
- Exact matches pass through; others go to Jev with the live catalogue
- Accept Jev's choice only at ≥0.85 confidence
- Otherwise keep the draft and ask what the user meant
Strengths
- Only offered commands can be chosen
- High confidence threshold
- Key kept out of the renderer
Caveats
- Each non-exact lookup costs API usage
- Requires Hermes Desktop with Agent ≥0.21.2
