Jev Chat for Twitch

Chrome extension adding a second Twitch chat column that shows only messages Jev classifies as helpful, questions, funny or feedback.

Overview

Jev Chat for Twitch is a bring-your-own-key Chrome extension that adds a second chat column showing only the Twitch messages worth reading. It reads a channel's live chat over the anonymous IRC WebSocket and asks Jev one category Choice per message in batches of 20; you pick an intent chip such as Helpful, Questions, Funny, Feedback or Everything meaningful, and the column shows only matching messages. Every row is a real chat message, with nothing rewritten or generated, and clicking a row shows the full probability distribution, category and model id.

Switching intent re-sorts what is already classified at no extra cost, and a narrow-chat option shrinks Twitch's own chat so both fit. The key stays in the browser profile and users pay TypeSafe directly; message text and usernames are sent to TypeSafe. The yibie list reports about 504 input tokens per message, roughly $0.15 per hour on a chat at 2 messages per second and $0.76 per hour at 50. It installs from a release zip as an unpacked extension and is MIT licensed.
