turing-jail
Three-level AI interrogation game where Jev gives plea, logic and paradox verdicts on the player's statements.
Overview
Turing Jail is a web game in which you write statements to a warden and try to earn release over three levels. Jev, through TypeSafe's System One API, analyzes each statement live and returns structured verdicts for plea, logic and paradox.
Players get hexadecimal prisoner IDs, unfinished runs resume after a refresh, and completed runs are sealed in a database and can be shared by URL. It uses SQLite locally and Neon/Postgres in production, and includes an answer test script. The README is short and bilingual (English and Chinese) and does not describe the exact questions or thresholds. Prisoners get six-digit hexadecimal IDs from #000000 to #FFFFFF, and a test script checks the warden's answers. The game is a light example of using a decision model as a judge of free-form player writing.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | Does this statement pass the plea, logic or paradox check?(inferred) | pass · fail |
How it works

- Includes an answer test script.
Caveats
- Exact questions and thresholds are not documented.
- Requires a TypeSafe API key.
