Touxian

Local-first desktop and Android attention workbench that extracts deadlines from WeChat and campus notices; Jev optional.

Projectbeta

Overview

Touxian (偷闲) is a Chinese-language attention assistant for students and others who receive many notices through WeChat groups and university websites. It gathers scattered messages about one event, such as a sign-up link, a later deadline and a format reminder, into a single trackable action line with the original evidence kept alongside.

The desktop app imports WeChat exports and monitors college websites, classifies announcements, extracts event and sign-up deadlines and ranks items P0 to P3. The Android app reads the currently visible WeChat conversation through a floating window and detects events, intents and deadlines. Intent and context analysis on desktop can use local Jev, TypeSafe Jev, DeepSeek or a custom Jev-style API; Android uses local rules. The README notes the 1.26 Android build is a debug-signed preview not yet verified on a device.

How it works

  1. Import WeChat messages or fetch college announcements.
  2. Classify messages and extract events, deadlines and intent (Jev, DeepSeek or local rules).
  3. Rank items P0 to P3 and keep the source text as evidence.
  4. User completes, archives or writes items to a calendar after confirmation.

Strengths

  • Local-first; data stays on the device.
  • Keeps original evidence for every extracted item.
  • Model backend is optional and swappable.

Caveats

  • Current Android build is a debug-signed preview pending device testing.
  • Some features are specific to Wenzhou University sources.
  • Documentation is in Chinese.
