sift
Chrome extension that labels every X post as substance, humour, chit-chat, promo or junk with Jev, and hides chosen labels.
Overview
Sift is a Chrome extension that tags every post and reply on X with one label (Substance, Humor, Chit-chat, Promo or Junk) plus two flags, AI-written and Off-topic (not about tech), using TypeSafe Jev at about $0.00003 per post according to the author. You choose which labels to hide; hidden posts collapse to one line and consecutive ones fold together with counts, and per-account always-show or always-hide rules are available.
Presets switch between Signal (only substantive tech), Balanced and Everything, with adjustable strictness for what counts as tech; by default Junk, Off-topic and AI-written posts are hidden. Replies are judged in the context of the post they answer. Search results stay native with no scoring. Other settings include hiding X's right column, dimming instead of collapsing, label-only mode and local regex stop phrases matched for free.
