neurolink

Juspay's TypeScript AI SDK with decide as a third inference type next to generate and stream, backed by Jev or Laya.

Overview

NeuroLink is a TypeScript-first SDK from Juspay that connects applications to many LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS, Azure, Mistral and local runtimes like Ollama, through one interface. It describes itself as the pipe layer of an AI nervous system: providers generate intelligence and NeuroLink carries it as streams to the application. A curated registry of 64 models and 132 aliases backs routing and context-window checks, with hundreds more reachable through LiteLLM and OpenRouter.

Besides generate and stream, it offers decide, which returns a calibrated boolean, choice or score judgment instead of text. According to the list summaries, TypeSafe Jev and Laya serve as decision providers. The README example asks whether a refund ticket can be approved without human review and reads back a probability; tryDecide returns null when no decision provider is configured. It is extracted from production systems at Juspay.

How it works

  1. Create a NeuroLink instance and configure providers.
  2. Call decide or tryDecide with state and typed questions.
  3. Read probabilities from the answers object.
  4. Fall back (tryDecide returns null) when no decision provider is set.

Strengths

  • One SDK for text generation and typed decisions.
  • Swap providers with a single parameter.
  • Built from production use at Juspay.

Caveats

  • Decision quality depends on the configured provider.
  • Large SDK if you only need decisions.

Getting started

npm install @juspay/neurolink, then const pipe = new NeuroLink(); await pipe.tryDecide({ state, questions }).
