ElBruno.AI.Jev
Community .NET 10 SDK giving one API for choice, score and assessment over Microsoft-Decision-1, Ollama or native Jev.
Overview
ElBruno.AI.Decisions is a .NET 10 library family offering one API for classification, routing, rubric scoring and proposition assessment, returning probability distributions instead of generated text. The core package provides IDecisionClient, Choice, Score and Assessment results, and routing through Microsoft.Extensions.AI. Provider packages connect to Microsoft-Decision-1 on Azure Foundry, local System One models through Ollama's /v1/systemone, and TypeSafe's Jev through a native SDK with an IDecisionClient adapter.
All four NuGet packages are in early access at version 0.6.2, with an introduction and quickstarts in the docs. It is aimed at .NET developers who want to swap decision providers without changing application code. The core package's routing support plugs into Microsoft.Extensions.AI, so .NET applications can route between chat clients based on a decision result, and an introductory post with quickstarts ships in the docs.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Choice | Which category or route fits this input?(inferred) | — |
| Score | Where does this input fall on a rubric?(inferred) | — |
| Yes / no | Is this proposition true (assessment)?(inferred) | yes · no |
How it works
- Install the core package and a provider package
- Create an IDecisionClient for Foundry, Ollama or Jev
- Ask choice, score or assessment questions
- Use results for routing via Microsoft.Extensions.AI
Strengths
- One API across three provider types
- Microsoft.Extensions.AI integration
- Local option via Ollama
Caveats
- Early access (0.6.x)
- Requires .NET 10
