jev-weekend-shopping-chrome
Chinese Chrome extension that guesses whether Taobao and JD sellers give a two-day weekend and stamps PASS on suspected others.
Overview
JEV Weekend Shopping is a Chrome extension for Taobao and JD.com shoppers who want to support companies that give staff a two-day weekend. As you scroll, products entering view are sent to Jev, which guesses the seller's work schedule from shop, brand and product text clues, preferring shop and brand information when available. Products guessed to be from non-two-day-weekend employers get a PASS stamp overlaid on the product image; others are left unchanged, and products stay clickable.
A panel shows running statistics, and turning off the switch removes stamps. The README stresses the judgments are AI guesses for reference only and do not certify any company's labour practices. Only the product text needed for judgment is sent to TypeSafe; cookies, orders and chats are not collected, and the user's own key is stored locally. It requires Chrome 137+, installs unpacked via developer mode without any build, supports JD home, search and listing pages and Taobao home and search pages, and is an MIT-licensed independent community project. The README is in Chinese with an English version.

How it works
- Detect products entering view on Taobao or JD
- Send shop, brand and product text to Jev
- Stamp PASS on products guessed to be non-two-day-weekend
- Show statistics; switch off to remove stamps
Strengths
- Works in place on the shopping page
- No build or local model needed
- Minimal data sent; no cookies or orders
Caveats
- Guesses from weak signals; not factual certification
