typesafe-sdk-swift

Experimental Swift 6 SDK for TypeSafe using SwiftPM, Swift concurrency and URLSession across all Apple platforms.

LibraryprototypeMIT

Overview

This Swift-native TypeSafe SDK uses Swift Package Manager, Swift 6 concurrency and URLSession, with no third-party runtime dependencies. It supports iOS/iPadOS 16, macOS 13, Mac Catalyst 16, tvOS 16, watchOS 9 and visionOS 1. State can be text or structured, and questions are expressed as Choice, Noul and Score enum cases; answers and usage come back in a typed response.

It is explicitly experimental at 0.1.0, and the README recommends pinning the exact version. It is candid about testing: macOS and iOS Simulator tests pass locally, compilation was checked for all six platform families at minimum targets, and CI passes, but that is not a runtime test on each minimum OS. It is MIT licensed.

How it works

  1. Add the package pinned to 0.1.0.
  2. Create TypeSafeClient with an API key.
  3. Call systemOne with state and questions.
  4. Pattern-match typed answers.

Strengths

  • Covers all Apple platforms.
  • No runtime dependencies.
  • Clear compatibility documentation.

Caveats

  • Experimental; APIs may change.
  • Not runtime-tested on every minimum OS.
