Overview

typesafe-sdk-ruby is a community-maintained Ruby client that ports the official JavaScript SDK (targeting version 0.6.0; Ruby release 0.6.0.1). It provides typed answer objects, retries, timeouts, cancellation and configurable logging, and reads TYPESAFE_API_KEY automatically.

It requires Ruby 3.1+, with CI testing Ruby 3.1 through 4.0. Version numbers track the JavaScript SDK, with a fourth component for Ruby-only fixes, and a changelog documents migrations. It is published on RubyGems. Some invalid requests raise TypeSafeError before any HTTP call, and the repository documents known upstream issues with evidence and limitations. Its examples include structured questions, such as a noul that separates an explicit cancellation request from a question about cancellation terms.
