TypeSafe Jev + ComfyUI
ComfyUI custom node that asks Jev noul, choice or score questions inside image-generation workflows, e.g. to pick a workflow template.
Overview
This is a custom node for ComfyUI that calls TypeSafe's Jev from inside a workflow graph. You set the state, the question type (noul, choice or score), instructions and criteria as JSON, and the node outputs the decision with probabilities and confidence. Choice supports up to 255 options and score 2 to 10 levels.
According to the list summary, the example use is routing a prompt to one of three ComfyUI workflow templates with a Jev decision instead of a keyword match. Installation is a single Python file in custom_nodes, with the TypeSafe SDK installed automatically or via pip, and an API key in the node or environment. Criteria are entered as JSON: true and false descriptions for noul, named options for choice, and an ordered list of levels for score. Answers include a calibrated confidence alongside the decision.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Choice | Which workflow template fits this prompt? | — |
| Yes / no | User-defined yes/no question | yes · no |
| Score | User-defined rubric score | — |
How it works
- Add the node to a ComfyUI workflow.
- Provide state, question type, instructions and criteria.
- The node calls Jev via the TypeSafe SDK.
- Downstream nodes branch on the decision.
Strengths
- Brings typed decisions into visual ComfyUI workflows.
- Single-file install.
Caveats
- Requires a TypeSafe key.
- Small integration with limited documentation of examples.
