typesafe-cli (y0usaf)
Shell command, jev, that asks Jev noul, choice and score questions about piped text and prints numbers.
Overview
typesafe-cli provides a jev command for the shell. You pipe or pass state and ask a noul (probability of yes), a choice (one of your options plus confidence) or a score (a position on your rubric, which can land between levels). An ask command sends many questions in one request; the README notes this costs one round trip of about 0.3 s rather than one per question.
It runs on Node 22.18+, directly from TypeScript source in a checkout or via nix run, or installed from npm. A Nix flake exposes a package for system configurations. The key is resolved from flags, environment variables, a key file, or the config used by the author's pi-jev extension, so one key file serves both.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | Does the state request a refund? | yes · no |
| Choice | What failed? | — |
| Score | Score on a user-supplied rubric | — |
