Overview
JevGuide is an Android app from the author of JevIntent and JevBystander that acts as a relationship-progress assistant for WeChat chats. It reads the screen, has Jev interpret the conversation and produce a relationship-progress score that stays pinned on screen, and has a separate chat model draft three candidate replies. It keeps long-term memory per contact. Like its sister projects, it only reads the screen and calls APIs; it does not modify WeChat, send messages or inject clicks.
The README documents that newer WeChat versions expose zero text nodes to the accessibility tree on the chat and search screens, even to the system's own tools, so the app adds a second path: screenshot, then a vision model to transcribe the text. The default auto mode tries the free accessibility tree first and uses paid vision only when it reads nothing. Debug signing keys are deliberately public, release keys are excluded and a secret-check script runs before commits. Settings links for obtaining keys may carry the author's referral code, disclosed as the project's only revenue. Documentation is in Chinese.
