jev-test-si-o-no
Minimal Spanish-language Node chat that answers yes/no questions with a single Jev Noul probability.
Overview
Chat Si/No con Jev is a basic Spanish-language example of a chat that answers questions with Si or No using TypeSafe's Jev. Each question is sent as a Noul, the yes/no primitive, which returns a value from 0 to 1 representing the probability that the answer is yes.
It is intended as a learning example for Spanish-speaking developers. The README briefly explains the three Jev primitives: noul for yes/no, choice for picking a label among several (for example billing, technical or other) and score for an ordered rubric (for example frustration level from 0 to 2). Example questions include whether the sun is a star and whether water boils at 100 degrees at sea level. Setup is an .env file with the API key, npm install and npm start.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | User's free-form yes/no question (e.g. Is the sun a star?) | — |
How it works
- User types a yes/no question in the browser
- Server sends it to Jev as a Noul
- Probability is mapped to Si or No and shown
Strengths
- Very small, easy-to-read example
- Explains the three primitives in Spanish
Caveats
- Toy example; not a real application
- Uses Noul for factual questions, which is not its primary design use
Getting started
Add TYPESAFE_API_KEY to .env, then `npm install` and `npm start`, and open http://localhost:3000.At a glance
