jev-builder
Browser form for building Jev requests from pasted text without hand-writing JSON, then rerunning to see how steady the answers are.
Overview
jev-builder is a browser tool for building requests to Jev without writing JSON by hand. You paste text as-is, with line breaks, quotes, tabs, emoji and backslashes, and the browser's JSON.stringify produces a valid state; you fill in what you want Jev to decide using yes/no (noul), a rating on a described scale (score) or a pick from options (choice), with as many questions per request as needed, and the request is written as you type.
Its second purpose is checking whether an answer holds: pressing Run repeatedly keeps every answer and shows how steady they were, including when the text is padded with filler or wrapped in a code fence. The author is explicit that it is not an eval platform, with no datasets, leaderboard or account, and points to the companion dinostomp harness for labelled data and pre-registered thresholds, for which jev-builder can write a question file. It runs locally in the browser at version 1.19.0 and is Apache-2.0 licensed and not affiliated with TypeSafe.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | User-defined yes/no question about the pasted text | yes · no |
| Score | User-defined rating on a described scale | — |
| Choice | User-defined pick from options | — |
How it works

- Copy the generated request or press Run
- Rerun to check answer stability
- Export a question file for dinostomp if needed
Strengths
- No manual JSON escaping
- Quick stability check across repeated runs
- No install or account
Caveats
- Not an evaluation platform
- Requires a Jev key to run requests
