jev-seo
Live SEO audit from one homepage URL: crawl, 52 rules, Core Web Vitals and Jev page judgments, reported as PDF, XLSX and Markdown.
Overview
jev-seo is a live SEO audit that starts from one homepage URL. It crawls the site, checks robots.txt, sitemaps, redirects, broken links, canonicals, structured data and JavaScript-only pages against 52 rules tied to Google Search Central, measures Core Web Vitals, and asks Jev typed questions about every page: page type, search intent, importance, helpfulness, specificity, trust, citability, title and meta fit, and pages competing for the same searches. Probabilities are kept with each answer.
Code then scores and ranks fixes, each with an ID, priority, impact, effort, evidence, a fix and an official source, and heuristics are labelled as such. The README is explicit that scores rank work and never predict rankings or traffic, and that missing data stays missing. Output is a designed PDF, an Excel action tracker and a Markdown report built from one audit.json. It runs as a Claude Code skill or a CLI; the standard mode costs about a cent in Jev per site, and an optional full mode adds DataForSEO rankings, keywords and backlinks for about 0.30 USD.

How it works
- Run /jev-seo with a homepage URL or use the CLI
- Crawl the site and apply 52 technical rules
- Ask Jev typed questions about each page
- Code scores and ranks fixes with sources
- Render PDF, XLSX and Markdown from audit.json
Strengths
- Checks the real site, not a template
- Every fix carries evidence and a source
- States plainly that scores rank work only
- About a cent per site in standard mode
Caveats
- Full mode needs a paid DataForSEO account
- Jev judgments of quality are heuristics, not ranking predictions
- Requires a TypeSafe API key
