jev-docs
Unofficial, auto-synchronised history of Jev APIs, SDKs, agent skill and best practices tracked from official TypeSafe sources.
This repository is mostly documentation or write-up rather than runnable code.
Overview
jev-docs is a community-maintained, unofficial reference that tracks the history of Jev and TypeSafe System One APIs, SDKs, agent guidance and engineering practices. A synchroniser watches only official sources: the docs llms.txt index and pages, the sitemap, the official typesafe-ai/skills agent skill, and the Python and JavaScript SDK repositories with their package metadata, tags and changelogs. TypeSafe's system-one-adapter-python is tracked separately as an evaluation tool.
Rather than copying the hosted documentation, which has no licence, it records URLs, metadata, hashes, timestamps and short excerpts. Readers get a concise BEST_PRACTICES.md for humans and coding agents, a MODEL_LIMITATIONS.md separating documented model weaknesses from the stable programming model, and state files listing official recipes by category and difficulty. It is useful for anyone needing to know what changed and when.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Other | What changed in Jev's documented APIs, SDKs and guidance over time?(inferred) | — |
How it works
- Synchroniser polls official TypeSafe sources
- Record metadata, hashes and small excerpts
- Regenerate state files and guides
- Publish best practices and model limitation notes
Strengths
- Change history of official sources
- Respects documentation licensing by not mirroring it
- Agent-ready best-practices file
Caveats
- Unofficial; does not speak for TypeSafe
- Only tracks official sources, not community projects
