Elixir SDK

Community Elixir TypeSafe SDK for Jev's system_one API, now superseded by the provider-neutral system_one_sdk.

Overview

typesafe_sdk is a community Elixir package for TypeSafe's System One API, bringing Jev's typed questions and probabilistic answers into Elixir and BEAM applications, with system_one calls and model listing. It is published on Hex with HexDocs documentation.

The repository now states that the project has moved: version 0.4.1 is the final release and new projects should use system_one_sdk, the provider-neutral successor that carries the semantic question API, prepared evaluations, typed answers, batching, telemetry, runtime controls, OTP integration, testing support and decision tooling. TypeSafe-specific authentication and wire operations moved to typesafe_api_sdk, which system_one_sdk uses as a built-in provider. Historical implementation details, guides, examples and release history remain in the original repository for reference, and the package is MIT licensed. Existing users can stay on 0.4.1.

How it works

  1. Add the package from Hex (or migrate to system_one_sdk)
  2. Configure the TypeSafe key
  3. Call system_one with state and questions
  4. Handle typed answers in Elixir

Strengths

  • Idiomatic Elixir access to Jev
  • Successor adds OTP integration and telemetry

Caveats

  • Final release; superseded by system_one_sdk

Getting started

For new projects use system_one_sdk (github.com/nshkrdotcom/system_one_sdk); typesafe_sdk 0.4.1 remains on Hex for existing users.
