Cheshi

macOS workspace for Codex with CodeGraph, Git and terminals, where opt-in Jev history recall finds past sessions and their decisions.

AppbetaMIT

Overview

Cheshi is a desktop workspace for AI-assisted development on Apple Silicon Macs. It lets you work with Codex, explore your codebase with CodeGraph, and manage code, Ghostty terminals, Git and Apple Notes in one app. It is in preview and installs via Homebrew or a signed ZIP; the first release requires macOS Tahoe 26.

Previous-conversation recall uses Jev to find past sessions and revisit decisions with their original sources. It is off by default even for existing TypeSafe key holders; when enabled, titles and neighbouring messages from the workspace's conversations are sent to TypeSafe, with an OpenAI model as fallback if Jev is unavailable. Jev also supports yes/no decisions in explicitly invoked executable skills. Help docs are in English and Korean.
