typesafe-sdk-java

Community Java 17 SDK for Jev with typed Ask declarations, enum-backed choices and a Spring Boot starter.

LibrarybetaMIT

Overview

Premo-Cloud's TypeSafe SDK for Java is a community client for Jev and other System One models. It requires Java 17+, depends only on Jackson, and follows the conventions of the official Python and JavaScript SDKs. A Spring Boot starter provides a TypeSafeClient bean configured from application properties.

Its API centers on Ask: you declare each question once with its key, instructions, criteria (including examples for Noul true and false cases) and the type its answer reads back as, such as a ChoiceAnswer over a Java enum. You ask several over your state in one call and read each answer back through the same Ask. It is MIT licensed, on Maven Central, with CI.

How it works

  1. Add the SDK or Spring Boot starter.
  2. Declare questions as Ask constants.
  3. Ask them over the state in one call.
  4. Read typed answers through the same Ask.

Strengths

  • Enum-backed choices and typed answer reads.
  • Spring Boot starter.
  • Single dependency (Jackson).

Caveats

  • Community SDK; requires a key.
