JevTools
Local Python toolkit and web dashboard for trying Jev via OpenRouter or TypeSafe, with review analysis, topic routing and request history.
Overview
JevTools is a toolkit, knowledge base, web dashboard and reference implementation for building applications with Jev through OpenRouter's decisions endpoint or the TypeSafe API. A zero-dependency Python localhost server exposes endpoints for analysing a product review with a six-question fan-out and composite score, classifying a topic with a routing policy, and running custom user-defined state and question schemas. It also lets you switch keys, mode and provider.
Every request and response, with latency and status, is stored in a local SQLite database, and history endpoints support search, statistics and clearing. The single-page dashboard shows probability meters, routing banners and a request history inspector, with a heavily styled visual design. Windows batch files launch it in one click. It is aimed at developers exploring Jev's behaviour and keeping a log of experiments, rather than a library for production use.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Score | Composite review analysis (six parallel questions about a product review) | — |
| Choice | Which topic does this text belong to, for routing? | — |
| Other | Arbitrary user-defined state and question schema | — |
How it works
- Start the local server and open the dashboard
- Choose a provider and enter a key
- Run review analysis, topic classification or a custom decision
- View probabilities and routing outcome
- Inspect stored history and statistics
Strengths
- Zero-dependency Python server and SQLite log
- Supports both OpenRouter and TypeSafe direct
- Request history for comparing experiments
Caveats
- Demo and reference tool, not a library
- Heavy visual styling over substance
- GPL-3.0 licence
