jevcode
Multilingual Astro documentation site on Jev patterns and practice, whose own publishing pipeline is gated by Jev decisions.
This repository is mostly documentation or write-up rather than runnable code.
Overview
JevCode (jevcode.ai) is a documentation and practice site about Jev in eight languages, built with Astro. It explains the three primitives (Choice for picking one of mutually exclusive options such as intent routing, Score for relevance or risk grading, Noul for checks and guardrails), architecture patterns such as confidence-based routing, composite scoring, fan-out and layered state, a five-minute quickstart, an ecosystem page and a lab of six editable real-world scenarios. Chinese and English are human-written; other languages are machine-translated and marked as unreviewed. It defers to TypeSafe's official docs for the API.
The site's distinctive feature is its automated publishing pipeline with Jev as gatekeeper. A daily cron job refreshes ecosystem repository stats, accumulates small changes until a threshold, asks Jev whether a release is worth publishing and where (Noul then Choice), runs a mechanical build, type check and full link check, asks Jev again whether the release is acceptable and how risky it is (Noul then a 0-3 Score), then deploys with atomic symlinks and logs everything. The README reports 13 archived calls costing about $0.0006 and shares practical lessons from running it.
What the decision model decides
| Type | Question | Answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes / no | Is this batch of changes worth publishing? | — |
| Choice | Where should it be published? | — |
| Score | How risky is this release (0-3)? | 0 · 1 · 2 · 3 |
How it works
- Daily cron fetches ecosystem stats and batches changes
- Jev gate 1: worth publishing and where
- Mechanical build, type and link checks
- Jev gate 2: release acceptable and risk score; deploy and log
Strengths
- Eight-language documentation
- Worked example of Jev gating a publishing pipeline
- Shared operational lessons
Caveats
- Mostly documentation; non-Chinese/English translations unreviewed
- Unofficial; defers to TypeSafe docs
