jev-router (AABBAASS1)

CLI that asks Jev which AI app should handle a task (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Antigravity), then opens it and pastes the prompt.

Projectprototype

Overview

Jev Router by AABBAASS1 is a command-line tool that asks Jev which agent should handle a task and then opens that app, or its website if the app is missing, and enters the prompt. The catalog covers Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Antigravity, with platform-specific launch code for macOS, Windows and Linux.

The flow is: Jev picks the agent, an optional approval step triggers when a yes/no probability exceeds 0.7, then the app opens with a new chat and the prompt is sent. On macOS it uses Safari's JavaScript from Apple Events and accessibility permissions for desktop typing; on Windows and Linux a Playwright browser profile is used, and Linux desktop paste needs xdotool. A smoke-test script checks routing with or without launching apps.

How it works

  1. Run router.py and enter a task
  2. Jev picks an agent
  3. Optionally ask for approval when the probability exceeds 0.7
  4. Open the app or website and paste the prompt

Strengths

  • Cross-platform launching
  • Simple smoke tests
  • Falls back to websites when apps are missing

Caveats

  • Relies on desktop automation permissions
  • Requires a Jev key
  • Small personal tool

Getting started

pip install -r requirements.txt, playwright install chromium, put JEV_API_KEY in secrets.env, then python router.py
