Overview

Jev Realtime Trading is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that runs paper-trading agents on a live market. You pick a stock or coin, assign paper money and a check interval from every second to every minute, and an agent asks Jev for its call on the next three minutes (up, down or flat) along with other checks. The app enforces your stops and targets and books every trade; it never touches real money.

The verdict panel shows the open trade's live profit and loss, where the price sits between stop and target, Jev's answers as bars with your thresholds marked, and the sequence of checks that led to the action, readable as a sentence such as reversal below 85% then intact above 30% then down below 60%, so hold. A feed logs each check's latency, token cost and result. Stock prices come from Alpaca's free IEX feed; crypto uses Coinbase's public feed and needs no key. The README notes the screenshots are simulated, not real or backtested results.

What the decision model decides

TypeQuestionAnswers
ChoiceWhere will the price go in the next three minutes?UP · DOWN · FLAT
Yes / noIs a reversal underway?yes · no
Yes / noIs the trade thesis still intact?yes · no

How it works

  1. Choose an asset, paper budget and check interval
  2. Each tick, ask Jev for direction and trade checks
  3. Apply thresholds in order to decide enter, hold or exit
  4. Enforce stops and targets and book paper trades

Strengths

  • Transparent display of each check and threshold
  • Crypto works with only a TypeSafe key
  • Keys stored encrypted locally

Caveats

  • Paper trading only; not a validated strategy
  • Screenshots are simulated
  • Per-second calls add ongoing cost

Getting started

git clone https://github.com/rthomas24/jev-realtime-trading.git && cd jev-realtime-trading && npm install && npm run dev, then paste your keys in the app.
