jev-market-reflex

Paper-trading demo that turns live BTC, ETH and SOL market state into Jev BUY / SELL / HOLD choices with deterministic risk rules.

ProjectprototypeMIT

Overview

Jev Market Reflex connects live BTC/USD, ETH/USD and SOL/USD data from Kraken's public WebSocket to TypeSafe's Jev. A single Bun process keeps shallow order books and recent trade flow, computes short-horizon features, and sends three Choice questions in one System One request. Jev returns typed BUY, SELL or HOLD choices with probabilities and confidence.

Ordinary code owns every execution and risk rule: a risk gate and deterministic paper execution apply decisions to a simulated portfolio, and results stream to a browser dashboard over server-sent events. No real money is involved and no exchange account is needed. A recorded replay mode runs without an API key, and the TypeSafe key never leaves the server process. It is a demonstration of fast typed decisions on streaming data rather than a trading strategy.

What the decision model decides

TypeQuestionAnswers
ChoiceWhat should the paper portfolio do for this asset now?BUY · SELL · HOLD

How it works

  1. Stream public Kraken market data into bounded features
  2. Send three Choice questions (one per asset) in a single Jev request
  3. Apply a deterministic risk gate to the returned choices
  4. Execute on a simulated paper portfolio
  5. Stream decisions and portfolio state to the browser over SSE

Strengths

  • Replay mode needs no key or external services
  • API key stays in the server process
  • Execution and risk rules are deterministic code
  • One request covers all three assets

Caveats

  • Paper trading only; not a validated strategy
  • Live mode depends on a TypeSafe API key
  • Decisions are based on short-horizon features only

Frequently asked questions

What does Jev decide?

BUY, SELL or HOLD for each of BTC, ETH and SOL from compact live market state.

Does it trade real money?

No. Execution is simulated on a paper portfolio.

Can I try it without a key?

Yes. bun run replay plays a sanitised recorded live run with no API key.
