jev-go

Unofficial Go client for Jev with YesNo, OneOf and Levels constructors and typed answer accessors.

LibrarybetaMIT

Overview

jev-go by Gaurav Gosain is a Go client for TypeSafe's System One API and Jev. It provides constructors for common question shapes (YesNo with descriptions of yes and no, OneOf with described options, Levels for ordered scales) and full structs for richer instructions, plus typed accessors for Noul, Choice and Score answers and batching helpers per list summaries.

The README's example checks a user message for prompt injection against a support bot and scores how much damage complying would do, returning 0.99 and 1.53 respectively. It stresses that code keeps the workflow and policy while the model supplies the semantic call, and advises one Noul per label when several labels can apply at once. The client reads TYPESAFE_API_KEY.

How it works

  1. jev.New() reads the key
  2. Build questions with YesNo, OneOf or Levels
  3. client.Ask with a state map
  4. Read typed answers and apply policy in code

Strengths

  • Concise constructors for common shapes
  • Typed answer accessors
  • Batching helpers

Caveats

  • Unofficial client

Getting started
