Overview

Jev Browser Control lets Claude Code or Codex drive a real Chrome browser. You ask in plain words, Claude plans, and Jev picks each click, keystroke and scroll in about half a second for a fraction of a cent, via a Chrome extension and an MCP server. It was created by Jeroen Erne with Claude.

The README shows five tasks run live in Claude Code on 26 September 2026, such as searching Google for museum opening hours (2 actions, 9.9 s), opening a Wikipedia article, drafting a LinkedIn reply without posting, opening a YouTube transcript, and filling eight fields of a pizza order form while stopping before submit (8 actions, 11.2 s), each costing well under a cent at the site's credit price, which is five times OpenRouter's. It reports being 27 to 198 times cheaper and more than twice as fast as letting Claude's or Codex's own model do the clicking on the same tasks. Clicks that buy, pay, send, post or delete, and publish buttons, are held for confirmation. It is MIT licensed, with bring-your-own OpenRouter key.
