Jadense in Zotero

Chinese-language Zotero AI reading assistant that uses Jev judgments to classify papers in your library.

LibraryproductionNon-commercial (custom)

Overview

Jadense in Zotero is a source-available AI reading assistant plugin for Zotero from Jadense, documented in Simplified Chinese with an English README. It supports question answering over the paper you are reading, annotations next to the original text, selection and full-text translation with local OCR, figure explanation, and reference checking and import. It runs with your own API key or an optional Jadense account.

Literature classification in the plugin is done with Jev judgments: the library is sorted using typed questions. In Jadense mode, those Jev classification calls can go through the Jadense account so no separate TypeSafe key is needed; otherwise users can configure their own. The plugin is free for non-commercial personal use under a non-commercial licence, and model costs depend on the chosen provider or account credits.

How it works

  • Can use a Jadense account instead of a TypeSafe key

Caveats

  • Non-commercial licence; commercial use prohibited
  • Documentation primarily in Chinese
  • Jadense mode may consume account credits
