Jackalope
Desktop workspace for coding agents that runs tasks in parallel worktrees, listed as using Jev to pick the best agent per task.
Overview
Jackalope is a prerelease desktop app (Tauri, macOS, Windows and Linux) for working with several coding agents at once: Codex, Claude Code, Grok Build, OpenCode, Kimi Code and Antigravity. You bring installed agents and existing sign-ins, organize projects and tasks, run parallel queues in isolated Git worktrees, answer agent questions, run checks and review patches before merging. It also connects MCP tools and browser sessions, schedules recurring local work, and offers capacity-aware routing across accounts and models with bounded quota handoff.
The hellogumbo list describes Jev's role as picking the best agent for each task, running basic code-review checks and supplying context. The fetched README does not mention Jev directly, so how those decisions are configured is not confirmed here. Running native tasks requires an approved Jackalope account, even in source builds, and agents use the user's own provider accounts and charges.

How it works
- User queues coding tasks in a project
- Router picks an agent and account per task
- Agent works in an isolated Git worktree
- Checks and review run before merging
Strengths
- Parallel tasks isolated in worktrees
- Uses existing agent subscriptions and sign-ins
- Apache-2.0 source
Caveats
- Prerelease; signed installers not yet available
- Native tasks require an approved Jackalope account
- Jev usage is described only by a list, not the README
