dsh-jev

DeepSeek Harness bundle registering a jev_ask tool for typed noul, choice and score questions to Jev.

ProjectprototypeMIT

Overview

This dsh-jev bundle registers a jev_ask tool for DeepSeek Harness. An agent on a profile that loads it can send typed noul, choice and score questions to Jev, mixing question types over the same state in one call; a bundled jev skill helps the agent use it. The session LLM decides when to call the tool, and the plugin does not force it.

Version 0.1.0 targets DSH 0.1.5-rc.2 and Node 22.19+ or 24+. The README recommends pinning a commit when installing from GitHub so a later push cannot change what you run, and explains that pnpm must be allowed to run the package's prepare script. The key comes from TYPESAFE_API_KEY or DSH credentials. The example asks whether a payout complaint conveys urgency and which team should handle it.

How it works

  1. Install the bundle pinned to a commit
  2. Agent calls jev_ask (or uses the jev skill)
  3. Jev answers the mixed questions
  4. Agent uses the typed answers in its plan

Strengths

  • Supply-chain-conscious install guidance
  • Mixed question types per call
  • Bundled skill

Caveats

  • Targets an older DSH release candidate
  • Agent may not call it unprompted

Getting started

dsh plugin --profile web add github:noetion/dsh-jev#<sha>, allow the prepare build in pnpm-workspace.yaml, set TYPESAFE_API_KEY and restart dsh web.
